Mz. imani is a ceremonial fire keeper, drum keeper, instigator, circle facilitator and a recording artist who collaborates with many to share the medicine songs received from spirit. She walks closely the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, and carries the gifts forward left to her by her many mentors. Mz. imani is blessed to be guardian of both the Hang and the Halo, enlivening the strands of the web as she sits beside her sis-stars and brothers with these precious instruments that inspire moments of shared remembering and renewal. The sonic saturation of Mz. imani’s voice and these instruments from the stars, reminds us to generously offer our gifts and our blessings and our prayers for the future generations, as we actively call forth the wisdom that resides in each one of us to collectively move “towards the one…”
